Memorial Sundial Garden

Holywell Primary school has dedicated a garden to Kathy. Staff, friends, parents and Barclays Bank donated money to create the garden.
Two hot weekends (and evenings after school!) were spent by staff and Barclays Bank digging and planting the garden.
We all went along to the opening of the garden on the 30th June, the same day as the summer fete.
The garden is beautiful, with a sundial in the centre surrounded by plants including lavender, which Kathy loved. We knew that Kathy would have liked the idea of a sundial as she loved to teach science.
A huge thank you to all the staff at Holywell and to Barclays Bank for their hard work in developing the garden. It is a lovely tribute to Kathy.
