The Katherine Jacobs Trust

The KJ Trust has received a cheque for £150, presented by PC Riches. The cheque represents profits from the tuckshop at Belgrave Police Station, from which officers from all parts of the police force make purchases.

PC Riches proposed that part of the profits should go to the Katherine Jacobs Trust. She knew Kathy for many years and respected the work that she did as a local primary school teacher.

Part of the Trust's funds are donated to raising awareness of Necrotising Faciitis from which Kathy died four years ago. Other funds promote educational achievement in local primary schools.
