The KJ Trust is a charitable organisation named in memory of Katherine Mary Jacobs, who worked as a teacher in Leicestershire. Katherine died in 2005 of a rare infection after having surgery to treat cancer.
Alan has decided to try and raise £2012 in 2012. He will do this by running, cycling, canoeing, swimming and walking a total of 2012 kilometres throughout the year.
More information about the challenge can be found on the following page:
The Trust is holding another Ceilidh on 21st April 2012 at Quorn Village Hall. Charlie Corcoran will be our caller again. As usual, a cold supper will be provided and there will also be a raffle. Tickets are £13 each and are available from the Trustees. You can also order tickets by e-mailing us at info@kjtrust.com.
