World Sepsis Day Fete 2019

Saturday 14th September 2019

The Katherine Jacobs Trust were invited to attend the Fete organised by the D.A.R.T. (Deteriorating Adult Response Team) at Leicester General Hospital. The aim of the Fete was to raise money for Sepsis Trust and to raise awareness of Sepsis.

The Fete was well attended by staff and their families and included fund raising stalls (a tombola, raffle and cake stall), children’s play activities and a number of catering outlets. There were also stalls raising awareness of Sepsis.

The Trust manned a stall with display boards to raise awareness of Necrotising Fasciitis and also to advertise the work of the Charity. We handed out leaflets describing the symptoms and treatment of Necrotising Fasciitis.
